An annual wellness exam can find problems before they get too bad. Often this would just involve a physical exam but sometimes monitoring of chronic conditions with lab work, radiographs or other diagnostics is indicated.

Horses' teeth require regular evaluation and care. Horse teeth require a procedure called "floating" to smooth them down to an even height and surface; jagged or overgrowing teeth can lead to pain, bit problems, chewing difficulties and digestive problems.
